Rodrigo, Andre Silva, Angel Correa: AC Milan complete the puzzle

The transfer of Rodrigo to Atletico Madrid fees the way for AC Milan to sign Angel Correa and send Andre Silva to Valencia.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Spain and Italy, a hot mercato axis. Or better: Valencia, Madrid, Milano. Protagonists are three strikers with crossed destinies Rodrigo, Andre Silva and Angel Correa. A puzzle that is about to be completed.

Atletico Madrid, who have smashed transfer records this summer, have closed the purchase of Rodrigo from Valencia. A quick striker, perfect for Diego Pablo Simeone’s all-vertical football. The Colchoneros dreamed of James Rodriguez but Real Madrid preferred to sell him elsewhere. Then here is the alternative but someone has to make room for him.

There has been a lot of talk in these days about the big difference between AC Milan’s offer and Atletico Madrid’s demand. Spanish press is reporting that AC Milan have upped their offer for Correa to 55 million while sources in Italy claim that the Rossoneri remain firm in their initial position of 40 million plus 5 in bonuses.

Despite the various reports on the transfer fee a deal is a matter of time with Angel Correa’s agent on his way to Europe. With the Argentine striker, AC Milan complete the attack of Marco Giampaolo’s side. Correa will play alongside Krzysztof Piatek in Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2 with Rafael Leao who will have plenty of time to adapt and grow. A promising combination of strikers.

Andre Silva is the one who exit’s the attacking department. The Portuguese talent was never really in Giampaolo’s plans and in Kosovo, against Feronikeli, he failed to convince. His performance was weak and desire was lacking. A foreign body. The puzzle is completed to perfection with Jorge Mendes ready to send Andre Silva to Valencia to replace Rodrigo. After the failed move to Monaco, Silva has finally found his next destination.
