AC Milan give ultimatum to Franck Kessie

AC Milan aim to close the Franck Kessie issue in a short time. The Rossoneri have already identified his replacement.

Few could have predicted during the summer that Franck Kessie would be close to leaving AC Milan on a free transfer at the end of the season. The Ivorian midfielder promised eternal love to AC Milan and that he hoped to end his career at the San Siro. A few months later and all those statements are forgotten.

The Rossoneri have offered Kessie 6 million euros plus bonuses for the next five years. Nevertheless, the 24-year-old is not pleased and has rejected Milan’s offer asking 8.5 million per season.

AC Milan have no intention to improve their offer. Meanwhile, Kessie is flirting with other clubs with his agent, George Atangana, holding talks with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and even Inter.

Maldini and Massara have not wasted any time and have already booked Marseille’s Boubacar Kamara for next season. At the same time, AC Milan have given an ultimatum to Kessie. The former Atalanta must give a final answer within December. The Rossoneri will not wait for him any longer and could consider his sale in January reports SportItalia.

Franck Kessie joined AC Milan in 2017 and is the only remaining player of the Chinese era. The former Atalanta central midfielder is one of AC Milan’s most expensive signing with a cost of 32 million euros.
