AC Milan in advanced talks with attacking midfielder

AC Milan are looking to complete a quick deal for Porto attacking midfielder Otavio Edmilson. The Brazilian becomes a free agent.

In AC Milan’s list of targets there are also some players destined to become free agents at the end of the season. Players of quality that at normal times would cost at least 25 million euros.

The most talked about name is undoubtedly that of Florian Thauvin, right winger of Marseille. The 28-year-old French star has reportedly agreed to join the Rossoneri while Porto midfielder Otavio Edmilson could join him soon.

Otavio is 26-years-old and is an attacking midfielder who has often played on both wings in times of need. The Brazilian, in possession of a Portuguese passport, is a tactically flexible player and technically gifted. He is not particularly prolific in scoring goals but is better known for serving his teammates. In 25 appearances so far, Edmilson has scored 4 goals and assisted 8.

AC Milan have been in contacts to close a deal for Otavio since in January. According to reports journalist Niccolo Schira, AC Milan are now in advanced talks to sign Otavio as a free agent on next summer. The Rossoneri are discussing with his agent Evandro Schmidt to close a four-year of 3 million euros per season.

Otavio is a player that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara hope to bring to Milanello as soon as possible beating the competition of Roma. Regardless of Hakan Calhanoglu’s renewal decision, Milan will sign the Brazilian star of Porto.
