AC Milan increase Fabregas offer, player rejects other proposals

AC Milan have made great progress in their attempt to sign Cesc Fabregas from Chelsea. The midfielder has rejected offers from other clubs.

Milan-Fabregas, negotiations continue forward. The parties are closer together, despite the firm intention of the Rossoneri, to sign Cesc only on a free transfer. In the coming days, or immediately after UEFA’s  sentence, the parties are expected to meet agent and discuss economic terms. That’s why it’s necessary to wait for the Financial Fair Play sanctions.

AC Milan sporting director Leonardo is in continuous contacts both with Chelsea and with Darren Dein, agent of Fabregas. The Rossoneri made an initially proposal of 3 million euros that has now been increased to 4 million, with the possibility of another raise. The parties have agreed on the contract length, two and a half years, that is until June 30, 2021.

With Lucas Biglia set to return at the end of February and Giacomo Bonaventura out for the remaining of the season, Milan need a top level regista that can orchestrate the Rossoneri’s game. The important thing is that Milan is Fabregas’ first choice.

The 31 year old Chelsea star is convinced that San Siro should be his next destination and has rejected offers from Olympique Marseille and Galatasaray. Fabregas wants to continue playing in another top league like Serie A.
