France Football: AC Milan interested in €15m rated Marseille midfielder
Luiz Gustavo is again in the orbit of AC Milan. Reports from France suggest that the Rossoneri are considering the Brazilian as an alternative to Kessie.
AC Milan are considering Luiz Gustavo for the midfield, the Brazilian defensive midfielder of Marseille. The 30 year old is an old target of the Rossoneri but in the end Milan decided to rely on Lucas Biglia who became the metronome of the midfield, first with Montella and then with Gattuso. But today, according to France Football, it seems that AC Milan are thinking again about his purchase.
The French outlet claims that the Red and Blacks value Luiz Gustavo as a cheep alternative to Franck Kessie and would be ready to present an offer if Marseille are willing to sell. The price of the 30 year old midfielder is around 10-15 million euros however the Red and Blacks need to wait for UEFA’s verdict before making a bid.
It must be said that a profile like that of the Brazilian does not appear as a priority for AC Milan but could become a useful figure in case both Locatelli (on loan) and Montolivo leave this summer. Luiz Gustavo can also play in defense.
