AC Milan make official bid for Spanish attacking midfielder

AC Milan have made an official bid for Parma wonderkid Adrian Bernabe. The Spanish sensation is doing great things in Serie B.

Adrian Bernabe is bewitching Parma fans with his skills, elegant play and eye-catching talent. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder of Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy (played alongside Ansu Fati, Eric Garcia and Nico Gonzalez), and former Pepe Guardiola protege, is finally beginning to show his class.

His recently great performances have not gone unnoticed. Bernabe has attracted the attention of a number of clubs with AC Milan and Juventus most interested in his services. The Rossoneri are set to sign a new attacking midfielder regardless of what will happen with Brahim Diaz.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Paolo Maldini has made concrete steps to secure the highly rated Spaniard. AC Milan have presented an official bid of 10 million euros to purchase Adrian Bernabe from Parma according to the Spanish newspaper.

Barcelona were about to sign him back last summer when his contract with Manchester City ended but the departure of Barca B squad coach Garcia Pimienta changed Adrian’s plans and he moved to Italy. Bernabe managed to revive his career after undergoing heart surgery in August for a cardiac anomaly.

The departure of Adrian Bernabe this summer is highly likely for a number of reasons. The good form of the talented midfielder has caught the eye of important clubs, his contract expires in two years and Parma are in mid-table so far and will probably play again in Serie B next season.
