SM: AC Milan improve offer for Angel Correa

AC Milan are determined to bring Angel Correa at San Siro and have reportedly made an improved offer for the Atletico Madrid striker.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – AC Milan have prioritized the signing of Atletico Madrid star Angel Correa and will wait until the very last days of the summer transfer window to complete a deal. Paolo Maldini confirmed the strategy of the Rossoneri.

However, the first issue to solve for the club is the situation of Andre Silva. The Portuguese striker must leave to make room for Correa. So far the failure to sell the former Porto talent is blocking the mercato of the Rossoneri.

Sportmediaset reports that AC Milan have made a new offer for Angel Correa. The Rossoneri have improved their initial offer of €38 million plus add-ons to €42 million plus 30% of any future transfer. A proposal that the Colchoneros would certainly like but due to the high sell-on percentage no other sources has confirmed the rumor.

Despite his not so high productivity in front of the goal, with 30 goals and 28 assists in 188 games for Atletico Madrid, AC Milan are convinced that the Argentine international is the right man for Marco Giampaolo’s side. Correa should support Piatek in attack in the role of second striker.

As mentioned earlier, Milan must sell Andre Silva in order to get the former San Lorenzo. The Rossoneri rejected a loan offer from Sporting Lisbon for the Portuguese striker and value him at 25-30 million. It Atletico Madrid manage to close a deal for Rodrigo Moreno then Valencia will likely be Silva’s most probable destination for next season.
