AC Milan make offer for Torino midfielder

AC Milan are considering a last minute signing. Leonardo is evaluating the possibility of adding another midfielder before the end of the summer transfer window.

There are no conditions to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer. Despite Elliot’s great economic potential it’s impossible for AC Milan to purchase the talented Serbian and please president Lotito’s demands without violating UEFA’s Financial Fair Play. That’s why Leonardo is considering a new name for the midfield.

According to Tuttosport, the Red and Blacks have made a last-minute offer for Daniele Baselli of Torino. The Brazilian technical director has proposed a loan move of 3-5 million euros with the obligation to buy at the end of the season for a total fee of 20 million euros.

It’s not yet clear what will be the reply of president Urbano Cairo. It will be difficult for Torino to replace the 26 year old central midfielder considering that the summer transfer window ends today. If a move fails to materialize than coach Gennaro Gattuso must rely more on Andrea Bertolacci this season.
