AC Milan consider the purchase of new central midfielder
AC Milan are considering the possibility of signing another central midfielder before the end of the summer transfer window.
Leonardo and Paolo Maldini have made a frenetic shopping campaign so far with many arrivals and exits. Today left-back Diego Laxalt was the latest to join the Rossoneri while Samu Castillejo will sign tomorrow. However there is the sensation that something is still missing.
The management duo is considering the possibility of adding another central midfielder before the end of the summer transfer window. The Brazilian and Maldini are considering the name of Daniele Baselli from Torino.
The 26 year old Italian plays for Torino since 2015 and has made 112 appearances scoring 16 goals in the last three seasons. The central midfielder has a price tag of around 15-20 million euros. It will be up to Gattuso to properly asses if such an investment is really needed and if Baselli is the player that could improve his squad.
