AC Milan make official offer for Sassuolo star

AC Milan have entered negotiations with Sassuolo for the services of the talented 25 year old central midfielder Alfred Duncan. 

Calciomercato.com reports today that the Rossoneri are pushing to sign the Ghanaian midfielder of Sassuolo Alfred Duncan. The former youngster of Inter with a past also at Sampdoria is a fixed starter for the Neroverdi and with his characteristics the 25 year old would be the ideal alternative in the middle of the field for Kessie. Sassuolo, however, want to profit as much as possible from his sale. They demand 20 million euros in order to allow Duncan to join the Red and Blacks.

AC Milan have already made an official proposal of around 12 million euros. Sassuolo have rejected their opening bid and expect an improved one. The Rossoneri could also use a couple of young players from Primavera offering them in exchange to lower the price of Duncan. Also much will depend on UEFA sanctions (read here) that are expected to have an effect on the summer budget.
