AC Milan players test positive for COVID-19

AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni confirms that some Rossoneri players have tested positive for Coronavirus.

Italy has been the most hard hit country in Europe from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Coronavirus outbreak caused the stop of Serie A and there’s not yet a restart date.

The difficult situation did not spare AC Milan club either. Last month Paolo Maldini and his son Daniel tested positive for Coronavirus and thankfully after a two-week period of quarantine they have fully recovered.

Now AC Milan players have tested positive for Coronavirus. After the initial rumors, Rossoneri president Paolo Scaroni confirmed in an interview with War Room the authenticity of the news.

At Milan we have some players infected with Coronavirus but they’re in the process of recovery. In addition, Maldini, both the father and son are now well. Milanello is open and we have already started training again, keeping our distance. We are walking towards the restart. We have to get used to living with the virus and this also applies to football“.

Scaroni did not name the infected players but he assured they have no symptoms and their situation is not problematic at all.
