AC Milan define transfer budget and complete list of targets

Everything is ready for new Ralf Rangnick course. AC Milan have defined transfer the budget and are completing a the list of targets.

Spend the right amount and make the most of it. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, this will be the philosophy of the new Rossoneri course. After the burn in these first two seasons of the Elliott era, Milan has in fact decided to change direction.

Now everything will be done in a targeted if not scientific way. Starting from the summer transfer budget, which will be 75 million euros plus half of the revenue from all player sales. The Rossoneri will prioritize the signing of young players under the management of Ralf Rangnick, but there will also be exceptions for more experienced players. After all, experience, as the 2019/2020 season has shown, is fundamental to help grow such a young group a players.

In a meeting that will shortly take place between the German coach and Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis, the parties will define the final agreement with Rangnick. Nevertheless, Hendrik Almstadt and Geoffrey Moncada, in these weeks of football stop, have not remained still.

On the contrary, the duo have updated their database of transfer targets with young talents. A great part of these new additions are relatives of famous footballers.

Like Khephren Thuram, son of Lilian, 19-year-old defensive midfielder of Nice who has made 16 appearances this season. Or like Hoffenheim U19 centre back Melayro Bogarde, Winston’s grandson, that has played for AC Milan and Barcelona in the past. In the same German squad also play Kerim and Turan Calhanoglu, cousins of Hakan. The 20-year-old Pierre Kalulu, whose contract with Lyon expires at the end of the season, is another interesting target on AC Milan’s radar. The list is closed by Bilal Benkhedim, attacking midfielder of Sait-Etienne.
