Ancelotti could ruin AC Milan’s plans for the attack

AC Milan are very interesting in the sensational Uruguayan striker but Real Madrid are expected to make a bid.

AC Milan are looking in South America to reinforce their attack and at the same time rejuvenate it with the purchase of a young striker that can give coach Stefano Pioli more options.

The Rossoneri talent scouts are testing the ground and viewing various promising players. Agustin Alvarez is one of the mot interesting names on AC Milan’s radar. The 20-year-old is having a sensational season with Penarol scoring 23 goals and assisting 5 in 40 appearances.

A few days ago Maldini hosted his agent Edgardo Lasalvia at Casa Milan expressing AC Milan’s interest for the Uruguay international. However, AC Milan are not the only club interested in Agustin Alvarez with Real Madrid keeping tabs on his situation.

Defensa Central reports that the Los Blancos scouts have given very positive feedback on Alvarez. Real Madrid are considering making an offer and brining the 20-year-old in Spain in January.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has asked president Perez to sign a new centre forward. The Spanish giants are currently leading La Liga but Ancelotti is not pleased with the contribution of his strikers. Besides Benzema, the other two options, Mariano Diaz and Luka Jovic have scored just one goal so far.

The intervention of Real Madrid is a big problem for AC Milan. Paolo Maldini considers Agustin Alvarez a player with huge potential and a much cheaper option than River Plate star Julian Alvarez. The winter transfer window officially opens on 3 January.
