Allan Saint-Maximin: “AC Milan? I’m ready”

Nice star Allan Saint-Maximin feels ready for a move to Milan. The French right winger was close to the Rossoneri in January.

Allan Saint-Maximin, 22-year-old right winger of Nice, was interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport at the end of the 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain. The French winger who was close to AC Milan in January commented on a potential transfer to the Rossoneri.

AC Milan? I certainly feel ready to move up a level and go to a more prestigious team, but for now I still feel good at Nice. It is up to me to continue to have these performances, helping my team as much as possible and then we’ll see at the end of the season “.

“Milan is definitely a great club. I had the opportunity to go to Milan in the January transfer window but it did not go through. We will see how it goes this summer. For now I am focused on the pitch and I want to help the my team win“.

The Rossoneri were very close to Saint-Maximin this winter. AC Milan had practically agreed his signing but coach Vieira’s threat to leave Nice if Allan was sold forced the French club to pull out of the deal.

Allan Saint-Maximin remains a target for the summer. His departure at the end of the season is guaranteed and Milan could acquire his services for a good fee considering his contract that expires in 2020.
