Andre Silva at Wolverhampton, Mendes reassures Milan

The future of Andre Silva seems far away from AC Milan. His agent, Jorge Mendes, is already in advanced contacts with Wolverhampton and a deal is expected to be reached soon.

Andre Silva could leave AC Milan at the end of the season. The future of the young Portuguese striker, that the Rossoneri club would like to sell in order to bet on a new center forward, could be in Premier League. According reports by Tuttosport, the management of via Aldo Rossi have received from Jorge Mendes all the reassurances of the case on the fact that Silva will join Wolverhampton.

Even though the 22 year old player joined the Red and Blacks only last summer he has failed to live up to expectations. Silva scored just 2 goals this year in Serie A (8 in Europa League) in 23 appearances, too little for a player paid 38 million euros. The Portuguese has struggled to justify his price-tag this season and it seems as if the Rossoneri are loosing patience.

Silva has also been subject of many criticism by coach Gennaro Gattuso for his lack of commitment in training sessions. Now it remains to be seen only if he will leave on loan on a permanent basis.
