AC Milan make first summer signing

Like last summer, AC Milan will again make some purchases for the future. Young players who can reinforce the Primavera squad and, perhaps, also the soon to be created B team.

According to reports the Rossoneri have closed the purchase of Nikos Michelis, a 17 year old Greek midfielder, who apparently has passed medical examinations last week. A central midfielder that can easily transform in centre back. The Rossoneri have paid around 400 thousand euros to buy him from the Asteras Tripolis, Antonio Donnarumma’s team for the 2016-2017 season before his switch to the Diavlo last year. Milan has probably maintained good relations with the Greek club and this purchase is proof of it.

The collaborators of Massimiliano Mirabelli followed Michelis in a tournament played in Italy with the National Under 17 team. His performances immediately convinced the Rossoneri scouts. At 17 years old, the midfielder should play with the Primavera squad or, eventually, with the B team if it were to be created in time for next season.

An operation very similar to those of last year with Tiago Dias, Sanchez Gioya and Jorgen Strand Larsen. Another confirmation of how much AC Milan is very attentive to young talents spread around Europe thanks to the dense network of observers created by sport director Mirabelli.
