Bacca: “I want to stay here”

Former AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca has no intention of returning to Italy. The Colombian international wants to continue his career in Spain.

Carlos Bacca wants to stay at Villarreal. It was Colombian striker himself, who joined the Spanish club on loan from AC Milan, with the right to make the move permanent at the end of the season, to openly declare his wish. Here are his words in an interview with the Spanish media: “I hope that both clubs soon find an agreement for the good of all. I want to keep playing here because both my family and I are very happy“.

The 31 year old became a Rossoneri player in 2015 for the hefty fee of 30 million euros. After two seasons at San Siro, Bacca returned in Spain on loan and has scored 7 goals in 20 games with the Yellow Submarine in the Spanish league so far. In order to make the move permanent Villarreal must pay around 15 million euros to Milan.
