Gazzetta: Udinese 1-1 AC Milan, player ratings

A great performance from AC Milan against Udinese till Davide Calabria’s decisive red card. A lost opportunity but filled with many positive performances.

Coach Gennaro Gattuso can be quite satisfied in general, especially with the compactness of a formation that has now found excellent balance, in terms of individual performances there is still something to be reviewed and improved because yesterday at the Dacia Arena individual errors in the final moments of the game decided the result.

As usual La Gazzetta dello Sport has published the ratings and individual assessments for each player part of yesterday’s match ended with the score 1-1. Very high ratings for the two brightest Milanese: 7.5 for a spectacular Suso, who opened the scoresheet with a spectacular goal in the first half. 7 instead for Gigio Donnarumma, in great from with his decisive saves on 2-3 occasions. Excellent performance also by Franck Kessie (7), AC Milan’s tireless tank in midfield.

A good game in general by the Rossoneri midfielders: positive performances also from Biglia, Bonaventura and Calhanoglu (6,5), able to put in difficulty for 60 minutes the Friulian rivals. A match to forget instead for the naive Calabria (5) and for an Andre Silva (5) anything but concrete and determined. Leonardo Bonucci (5,5) does not convince either and suffers a lot in his duels with Lasagna, a good attacker but certainly not a great one. While Abate (5,5) is never able to push forward. Alessio Romagnoli is the only defender with a solid performance (6,5) from yesterday’s match.
