Bayern Munich duo offered to AC Milan

Two Bayern Munich players have been offered to AC Milan. The Italian are on the market to strengthen their midfield and defence.

AC Milan are spending a big chunk of their summer transfer budget to revamp the midfield. Until now the Rossoneri have signed Ruben Loftu0s-Cheek from Chelsea while being in advanced negotiations for Reijnders and Musah. The Italians are also interested in signing a new right back. Two Bayern Munich players have volunteered for both positions.

Christian Falk, journalist of the German newspaper Bild, reports that Rayan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui have been offered to AC Milan. Both players joined Bayern Munich from Ajax one year ago but are not happy with their respective game time. The two have made it clear that they want to play a bigger role and are looking around for options.

Gravenberch has been particularly vocal about his intentions to leave. Hailed as one of the best young players in Europe during his time at Ajax, Ryan Gravenberch expects a central role either at Bayern or somewhere else. AC Milan are interested but Bayer Munich’s asking price of over €30 million is considered excessive. AC Milan have Gravenberch as an alternative to Yunus Musah.

Unexpectedly the Rossoneri are also looking on the market for a new right back. Both captain Calabria and Florenzi have had their share of physical struggles in recent seasons and coach Stefano Pioli has asked the management to bring in a solid player in that area. Noussair Mazraoui is an experienced player that can also play as left-midfielder. The Morocco international is reportedly open to move on loan as well.

Both players are clients of the Raiola agency. For now Milan are keeping all their options open but both Ryah Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui are not primary targets. The management are focused on Reijnders and Musah for the midfield while in defence Torino’s Wilfried Singo is the first option. Singo has been playing all his career in Serie A and his contract with Torino expires in one year.
