Borussia Dortmund defender offers himself to Milan

Borussia Dortmund defender and Arsenal target Sokratis Papastatopoulos is reported to have offered his services to AC Milan.

Tuttosport reports that the 29 year old Greece International wants to leave Germany in the summer and would love to return in Italy at the Rossoneri. The centre back’s contract with Dortmund expires in a year and he can leave for a fee in the region of 10 million euros, however, AC Milan do not seem very interested in the player and have no intention of making a bid.

Sokratis Papastatopoulos was part of the Red and Blacks for the 2010/11 season. He arrived from Genoa for 14 million euros and was sold back just after one year for one million less. During his time at San Siro the Greek defender played 7 games but was part of the squad that won the Scudetto that year.
