Brahim Diaz shines but it’s Real Madrid who smile

AC Milan are enjoying the good performances of Brahim Diaz but it’s Real Madrid who gain the most from the Spain talent.

AC Milan new signing Brahim Diaz is going through a very positive moment. The young Spanish talent is proving to be a player of great technical quality and ready to help the team at anytime.

In the last Europa League match against Celtic Glasgow, Diaz was one of the best Rossoneri players on the pitch, not only for the splendid second goal of the match. The absence of Hakan Calhanoglu was not felt in attack thanks to the former Real Madrid.

Coach Stefano Pioli is very satisfied, happy to have a high quality player available as an alternative. Diaz, besides attacking midfielder, can also play on both wings. A ductile player that Paolo Maldini is trying to keep at San Siro.

The problem is that in addition to Milan, it is Real Madrid who gain the most from Diaz’s great performances. In fact, Diaz joined the Rossoneri on a season-long loan, with no option to make the transfer permanent. Thus the 21-year-old should return to Spain at the end of the season.

Diaz’s form is excellent news for Florentino Perez, who could therefore aim to bring the 21-year-old back to Real. Or else also exploit his growth by demanding a high transfer fee from AC Milan. In the summer the two clubs failed to agree a fee because Milan were offering 25 million while Real Madrid wanted 40 million. If Brahim Diaz keeps this pace it will be very difficult for Milan to secure his services beyond 2021.
