Club statement on Andre Silva and Borini sale

Andre Silva continues to be linked with a move away from Milan with Barcelona and Arsenal interested in his services. Fabio Borini has also become a target of Torino recently.

AC Milan through their official website has announced that none of the new purchases will be sold in January: “For this winter transfer session, Milan has followed a policy that does not change. Of the players who arrived last summer in the Rossoneri jersey, nobody will be sold. With their respective characteristics, Andre Silva and Borini are considered two important points of reference for the Milan squad. Their further enhancement and the consolidation of all the players who arrived at Milanello after the summer market, are the priorities at this crucial moment in the work of Rino Gattuso, that will come to life after the winter break“.

AC Milan has a clear line for the ext transfer market. None of the new ones will leave. Neither Andre Silva nor Borini. Only certain outcasts will be allowed to leave. For example Gustavo Gomez, Gabriel Paletta, Jherson Vergara and others. The group should be lightened, but there is faith in the new arrivals and therefore the goal is to enhance them to the fullest. Coach Gattuso will give his max to make the team play according to expectations. We hope he succeeds in his mission.
