Di Marzio gives update on Kamada, Loftus-Cheek and Milinkovic Savic and De Ketelaere exit

Transfers expert Gianluca Di Mario gives an update on AC Milan’s pursuit for Kamada, Loftus-Cheek and Milinkovic-Savic.

AC Milan are currently the most active Italian club on the market. The Rossoneri are not waiting the end of the season in order to plan for the upcoming one. Maldini and Massara are working to strengthen the squad as soon as possible and to give coach Stefano Pioli a complete squad when the pre-season tour stars.

The first department to gate an overhaul will be the midfield with AC Milan very close to completing the first two signings. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio offers an updated the situation of Kamada, Loftus-Cheek, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as well as the possible exit of Charles De Ketelaere.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a real target for AC Milan and talks are at an advanced stage. The player has already said yes to a transfer to the Rossoneri, but Milan need to find an economic agreement with Chelsea to make the operation happen”. Chelsea are reportedly asking a fee of €25 million.

Another concrete target is Daichi Kamada, the 26-year-old Japanese who can play both as playmaker and central midfielder. He has a contract expiring at the end of June 2023 and can be registered on a free transfer. Kamada will not renew with Eintracht Frankfurt and would gladly join Milan after the experience gained in Germany”.

As for Charles De Ketelaere, Di Marzio reports that the club will give him another chance. Being a young player and that others before him struggled in their first season with the Rossoneri, the idea seems to be to confirm him. Obviously, it will also be necessary to see what offers there will be for the player. However, the loan hypothesis cannot be ruled out, even if there is still nothing concrete today.

Di Marzio cools down the reports of a possible agreement for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Yes, the player could be leaving because if he doesn’t renew he has one year remaining in his contract with Lazio. AC Milan may like him, just other clubs of international level. I have no evidence of a negotiation now, also because Milan are now negotiating for Loftus-Cheek and are negotiating Kamada, who are two midfielders”.
