Romano: AC Milan close 2 new signings

AC Milan have closed the signing of Italian striker Pietro Pellegri. Tiemoue Bakayoko too will return for a second spell.

After Alessandro Florenzi, AC Milan are about to add to new players to their roster. Pietro Pellegri will be the Rossoneri’s third striker this season while Tiemoue Bakayoko will return for a second spell at San Siro.

Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reports that AC Milan have closed the signing of the young Italian striker. AC Milan will pay 1 million for the loan and have the option to make Pellegri’s transfer permanent for another €6 million. Monaco will also have a future sale percentage.

From the beginning of the mercato, Maldini and Massara were in search of a young striker to partner with Ibrahimovic and Giroud. The arrival of a young Italian striker is also very useful for UEFA’s player list requirements. Three years ago Monaco invested more than 30 million to purchase Pietro Pellegri from Genoa. At AC Milan, he will have the chance to revive his career.

The signing of Tiemoue Bakayoko is just a matter of time. Chelsea and AC Milan are discussing the last details of the agreement. Bakayoko will return again on loan with AC Milan having the option to sign him permanently at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old defensive midfielder had been pushing for a long time to join only the Rossoneri. He rejected every offer from other clubs. Nevertheless, the signing of Bakayoko does not exclude the arrival of Yacine Adli. The Rossoneri remain interested in Adli and have improved their offer to 12 million plus a future sale percentage reports MilanNews.it.
