Fiorentina captain proposed to Milan

Fiorentina captain Milan Badelj is again a target of the Rossoneri for the upcoming summer transfer window. The Croatian defensive midfielder can join AC Milan on a free transfer.

The Rossoneri and Milan Badelj have been flirting for the past two years. Ever since Vincenzo Montella was appointed coach of the Red and Blacks, Fiorentina’s defensive midfielder has been a transfer target but no negotiations ever started especially after AC Milan decided to rely on Lucas Biglia last summer, a player with characteristics similar to Badelj.

But this time is the agent Alessandro Lucci to re-propose Badelj’s candidacy to AC Milan. In recent contacts with sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli, his agent has proposed the signings of Badelj on a free transfer. The Croatian’s contract with Fiorentina expires next June 30th. This season the 29 year old has played 24 games scoring twice and cloud represent a valid alternative to both Biglia and Kessie.
