Libero: Thiago Silva wants Milan return

Former AC Milan defender Thiago Silva is feeling nostalgic about the Rossoneri and would like to return reports Libero.

According to today’s edition of Libero, AC Milan former centre back, Thiago Silva, currently playing in France for PSG is feeling nostalgic about Italy and the Rossoneri. The 33 year old defender would like to return to AC Milan but a deal seems almost impossible given that the Brazilian earns 12 million euros per season (way to much for Milan coffers) and has a contract with PSG until 2020.

The Brazilian star played for the Red and Blacks from 2009 to 2012 before moving to France for 42 million euros together with Zlatan Ibrahimovic becoming the most expensive defender in football history at the time. During his three year spell at the Rossoneri Thiago Silva transformed in one of the best defenders in the world and won the Scudetto 2011.
