AC Milan have targeted Pedro Guilherme for the attack and Fluminense are willing to sell the player for much lower than his release clause.
Fluminese 21 year old centre forward Pedro Guilherme enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2018 scoring 19 goals in 37 appearances. The talented Brazilian striker was also top scorer of Campeonato Carioca and earned a place in the Team of the Tournament. Great statistics to draw interest from some of Europe’s top clubs, AC Milan included.
The Rossoneri are intended to purchase a new striker in the January transfer window. Coach Gennaro Gattuso has only Patrick Cutrone and Gonzalo Higuain available up front so considering the long season and the fact that AC Milan play in three competitions a new striker would be very useful.
A few days ago Fluminese president confirmed that Pedro’s departure is just a matter of weeks. In an interview for Globoesporte he declared: “Our financial situation is not good, everyone knows that. We have no other option but to sell”. And Pedro Guilherme is their most prized asset.
According to recent reports Fluminese are demanding a fee of 20 million euros for the striker. The 21 year old has a 50 million euros release clause but because of the difficult situation of his club a deal can be achieved for much lower. Leonardo is thinking about it.
