Gazzetta: The probable starting formation of Gattuso’s Milan

Now that AC Milan have appointed Gennaro Gattuso as new coach some changes are expected in the starting lineup and game philosophy.

So some changes in strategies and hierarchies should be made starting from the Sunday’s match against Benevento. The stable formation should include Donnarumma undisputed between the posts, confirming the defense of three with Zapata, Bonucci and Romagnoli the most suitable to play from the first minute. On the sides, possible relaunch of Abate (former teammate of Gattuso) on the right and Rodriguez confirmed on the left. In the middle, Kessie will be accompanied by one between Lucas Biglia and Montolivo. Finally the attack: Gattuso should return to play with the old forward trio with Suso and Bonaventura wide and Kalinic as sole striker. The new coach could change the role of Andre Silva, who in the starting 3-4-3 can also be used as a winger rather than as a centre-forward.
