L’Equipe: AC Milan make bid for French midfielder

AC Milan have made an official offer for French midfielder Yacine Adli. Bordeaux have not yet responded reports L’Equipe.

AC Milan have decided to let Tommaso Pobega leave on loan. The Rossoneri rejected Atalanta’s 15 million bid and believe the young midfielder has a future at the San Siro. Sampdoria, Cagliari and Spezia are in talks to sign Pobega on loan until the end of the season.

Meanwhile the management are looking for a new central midfielder. According to reports from L’Equipe (via MilanNews.it), the Rossoneri have turned their attention to France. AC Milan have made an official offer of €10 million for Yacine Adli.

The 21-year-old central midfielder plays with Bordeaux in Ligue 1. The French starlet is a very ductile player that can also play as central or right midfielder. An attacking-minded player with great passing skills. In France he’s compared to Adrien Rabiot but Adli gives a bigger contribution in attack.

The contract of Yacine Adli with Bordeaux expires in 2023. Bordeaux president admitted that he has received an offer for Adli but he would like to keep the player. However, with no progress in renewal talks Bordeaux may be forced to sell him.

In addition to the 10 million euros, AC Milan are also offering 10% on his future sale to Bordeaux. Two years ago Bordeaux spent €5.5 million to sign Yacine Adli from Paris Saint-Germain. Adli is a suggestion of AC Milan head scout Geoffrey Moncada. Despite his young age, Adli has 70 official appearances to his name.
