AC Milan midfielder receives two offers

Only one between Tiemoue Bakayoko and Lucas Biglia will remain at AC Milan for next season with the Argentine most likely to be sold.

Tiemoue Bakayoko and Lucas Biglia, so far and so close. Same role but different characteristics: physical dominance on one side, geometry on the other. A precious double card for coach Gennaro Gattuso and his chameleonic Milan. Yet despite this, one could exclude the other at the end of the season.

A matter of costs and opportunities, derived by transfer market moves and the burden of Financial Fair Play rigid rules. Thus, especially considering that the experiment to play them together did not work properly, the Rossoneri management is evaluating which of the two to keep.

While the team is fighting for Champions League qualification, at the headquarters of Casa Milan, the management continues to work for the next season’s squad. In the last few hours, reports Il Corriere dello Sport, Leoanrdo and Maldini have contacted Bakayoko’s agents. The French 24-year-old, who has become fundamental in midfield, is an absolute priority of AC Milan and the Rossoneri will pay 35 million euros to Chelsea in case of Champions League qualification.

At the same time, the agent of the Argentine midfielder, Enzo Montepaone, has already announced a visit these days to discuss about the future of Bilgia with the AC Milan management. Lucas wants to renew his contract with Milan. His current deal expires in 2019 but he also wants to understand the intentions of the club. That is, if Biglia will still be an indispensable part of the project, or just a supporting player as it has happened in the last games.

Biglia, meanwhile, has already received an offer from Boca Juniors that for now has been put on stand-by. On the other hand, an unnamed Chinese club has made a very lucrative offer to the Argentine midfielder. Despite the very good economic proposal it seems that Lucas Biglia wants to end his career at Milan or in his homeland. There is also interest from France. Selling Biglia this summer is AC Milan’s last chance to earn something from the 33-year-old defensive midfielder.
