AC Milan meet agent of Barcelona star
AC Milan held a meeting with the agent of Barcelona winger Malcom and Chelsea defender Emerson. Both players are being considered by the Rososneri.
AC Milan have intensified the search for a new winger. Suso and Hakan Calhanoglu have underperformed this season and the management is looking for new options that can provide more quality up front.
Barcelona right winger Malcom is the new name in AC Milan orbit. Malcom’s transfer to the Spanish giants was one of the most discussed cases of last summer. The Brazilian had already promised himself to Roma, but when Barcelona contacted him he decided to change destination in the last minute and play with Leo Messi.
Yesterday at Casa Milan, the Rossoneri management held a meting with representatives of Elenko Sports, the agency that takes care of Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri and Barcelona’s Malcom reveals Sport.es.
Apparently AC Milan are interested in both players. The Rossoneri tried to sign Malcolm back in January on loan with an option to buy but Barcelona rejected this proposal. Barca, who paid €40 million to Bordeaux last summer, are willing to discuss only a definitive transfer.
The situation is different for Emerson Palmieri, who could leave Chelsea for a fee of around €20 million. Though a lot would depend on Chelsea’s possible transfer ban. The former Roma left back could become am alternative to Ricardo Rodriguez.
