Milan star could miss Torino match
As if the defeat in the derby wasn’t enough, AC Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta could miss the next league match due to injury.
AC Milan lost the derby but more than about the result, the fans are disappointed by the performance of the team. The Rossoneri were a totally different team in the second half, not in the good sense.
One of the changes that Marco Giampaolo made to improve the game was to substitute Hakan Calhanoglu with Lucas Paqueta in the 64th minute. Not only was the Brazilian powerless to influence the end results but he also suffered an injury.
Sky Sports reports that the 21-year-old will have additional medical exams today to evaluate the extent of his injury but Paqueta risks missing the upcoming Serie A match against Torino.
On Thursday night, AC Milan travel to Torino. Both AC Milan and Torino have six points after the first four rounds of Serie A. The Rossoneri have won against Verona and Brescia while Torino won the first two against Sassuolo and Atalanta but lost with Lecce and Sampdoria.
In recent games coach Giampaolo has experimented with Paqueta’s position.The former Flamengo started the season as central midfielder before advancing in the trequartista role in the last two matches but without success.
