Milan-Torino, possible alla Morata deal for Cutrone

Patrick Cutrone has been a revelation so far with some excellent performances in Europa League and not only. Several teams want his services with Torino considering a move.

Patrick Cutrone is surprising everyone in this pre-season summer. Both in friendly matches and in the preliminaries of Europa League against Craiova, he has exhibited very good qualities. Many are wondering if AC Milan will now hold him tight or if the club will prefer to loan the youngster in order to find more playing time and gain more experience. Much will depend from the rossoneri moves in the transfer market. It is well known that the red and blacks are looking for a new striker and at the same time they want to sell Carlos Bacca (read here). A new bomber will surely arrive but if the Colombian does not leave then the former Primavera could depart.

According to the latest news from Tuttosport, Torino are very interested on Cutrone. For weeks they have been looking for a striker and, after testing several alternatives, they are considering the 19 year old rossonero.

Torino’s sports director, Gianluca Petrachi, is asking the youngster on loan with the right to buy for an important figure, also proposing the possibility to insert a buy back clause in AC Milan’s favour. An operation that in some aspects is reminiscent to the one made by Juventus for Alvaro Morata with Real Madrid, who after two years resigned the Spanish striker. Although the bianconeri initially took the player permanently and not on loan.

Tuttosport writes that in the coming days Milan and Torino may sit down to discuss the terms of the deal. Especially the permanent signing figure by Torino and the buy back fee if the rossoneri really decide to let Cutrone go. On the striker there is also strong interest from Crotone, who have been asking for his loan for a long time now. But this solution does not completely convince the player, who would prefer to join a more ambitious team. Cutrone has openly revealed his desire to stay at Milan and Vincenzo Montella himself said that he hopes to keep the 19 year old. As mentioned before, much will depend on the club’s forthcoming moves in and out of the attacking department.
