Journalist Alfredo Pedulla gives an update on the talks of AC Milan with Renato Sanches and Andrea Belotti.
March is looking like summer for the Rossoneri. There is still a lot of time until the transfer window opens but AC Milan are working to complete a couple of signings in advance. Renato Sanches and Andrea Belotti are two names that have been linked with AC Milan constantly in recent months.
Journalist Alfredo Pedulla gives promising updates on both players confirming AC Milan’s interest in the two. “Milan have been working for months for a great future. Botman is a target that is approaching while Renato Sanches remains high on their wish list. By the way, it is absolutely not true that Sanches has asked Milan for a contract of €7 million per season.
Lille have given AC Milan the green light to negotiate with the player. Talks with his agent Jorge Mendes have been going on since January but the parties had different ideas on the player’s salary.
Renato Sanches is appreciated by other clubs, including Juventus, but AC Milan remain in advantage. Then, if the midfielder whose contract expires in 2023, makes other choices, amen. An successor for Franck Kessie will arrive nevertheless“.
Pedulla spoke about the future of Andrea Belotti: “Belotti remains a transfer target of AC Milan. Il Gallo was not only proposed, there have been talks and the player took time with everyone (in Italy there are Atalanta and Roma interested in him) because he wants to give Milan priority.“
