Sky: Two Premier League strikers offered to AC Milan

AC Milan plan to sign a new striker at the end of the season and a number of agents are offering their clients.

AC Milan will bring a new striker at the end of the season. Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have continuously had physical problems throughout the season. Pietro Pellegri was shipped to Monaco while Mark Lazetic has yet to make his competitive debut with the Rossoneri.

Many player agents are aware of AC Milan’s transfer plans and are proposing their clients. Sky Sport reports that two Premier League forwards have been offered to AC Milan in recent weeks.

Divock Origi has been on AC Milan’s radar for a long time. The 26-year-old has refused to extend his contract with Liverpool and will leave as a free agent at the end of the season. It has been impossible for Origi to secure a spot in Liverpool’s front three. The Belgian striker has only made 14 appearances so far. He has scored 5 goals and assisted 3, finding the back of the net against AC Milan in Champions League.

Alexandre Lacazette is the second Premier League player offered to AC Milan. The Arsenal captain will not be renewing his contract and is looking for a new adventure outside England. He has played a key role this season after the departure of Aubameyang. Nevertheless, 6 goals (and 8 assists) are too little for AC Milan.

Both players are not proven goal scorers. Origi has never reached double figures in the Premier League while Lacazette has failed to replicate his Lyon numbers with Arsenal. The Rossoneri will continue to evaluate all options with Belotti and Scamacca the other name on Maldini’s list.
