Milan vs Inter: the Rossoneri squad

Following Tuesday’s training session and the pre-match press conference at Milanello, Coach Gattuso has announced the 22-man squad for the derby against Inter, the replay of Matchday 27 with kick-off Wednesday 4 April, at 18.30 CEST.

GOALKEEPERS: A. Donnarumma, G. Donnarumma, Storari
DEFENDERS: Abate, Antonelli, Bonucci, Calabria, Musacchio, Rodriguez, Romagnoli, Zapata
MIDFIELDERS: Bonaventura, Calhanoglu, Kessie, Locatelli, Mauri, Montolivo
FORWARDS: Borini, Cutrone, Kalinic, André Silva, Suso.

Gazzetta: Doubts in attack, Cutrone favorite over Kalinic

The choice is between expert Nikola Kalinic, whom Gattuso could could give a last chance after the not so brilliant appearance against Juventus or Patrick Cutrone, who would interpret the derby with the usual grit and willpower. One step behind is Andre Silva, a surprise starter at Allianz Stadium but destined to start from the bench tomorrow. However everything is open, today’s last training session will be decisive offering Gattuso valuable indications before making a final choice.

Tuttosport: Gattuso making two forced changes with Inter

It was a good performance by the Rossoneri but unfortunately Juventus managed to be more concrete and opportunists. Now it’s time to focus on the upcoming derby match against Inter. A crucial game for the Champions League hopes of the Red and Blacks and coach Gattuso is forced to make some changes.

The yellow card of Lucas Biglia (automatic suspension) and the disappointing performance of Andre Silva (and then of Kalinic) have in fact indicated the path towards the derby to be played on Wednesday. As reported by Tuttosport, Rino Gattuso will rely on Montolivo in the control room and, most likely, on Patrick Cutrone in attack. Two necessary changes for a team that has only one useful option: victory.
