Milano municipality wants to postpone Milan-Inter derby

AC Milan vs Inter scheduled on March 4 may not happen after all. The municipality of Milano wants to change the date of the derby.

According to reports from Tuttosport this morning, the City Council of Milano, would like to present an official request to the league to delay the derby between AC Milan and Inter scheduled on March 4, a day of elections in Italy.

The Rossoneri’s calendar, however, could be a major obstacle as the team of Gennaro Gattuso will be engaged on February 28 in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final against Lazio, while on March 8, in case the Rossoneri overcome Ludogorets in Europa League, then the red and blacks must play in the round of 16.
