AC Milan Primavera reach Coppa Italia final

Under the eyes of Gasperini, Gattuso, Fassone, Mirabelli and Han Li, the young Rossoneri overcome 3-2 Atalanta and reach the Primavera Italian Cup final.

The Primavera Italian Cup final will be AC Milan-Torino. After the qualification of the Granata club against Roma, it’s time for the young Rossoneri of coach Lupi to reach the final beating 3-2 and eliminating Atalanta, leaders in the league.

After the 2-0 result of the first leg, Murati’s net in the 13rd minute closed everything because at that point Atalanta should have scored four goals to qualify. On the stands, there were present the coaches of the two first teams (Gasperini and Gattuso), but also Fassone, Mirabelli and Han Li.

If in the first leg, 16 minutes were needed to score the first goal with Tiago Dias, this time it takes three less: after an encouraging start from Atalanta, a great right-footed shot by Murati opens the scoresheet. Atalanta equalize the result with Barrow on 31′, assisted by Kulusevski. Just when Atalanta seemed the had a chance to turn the match around, Sinani with a header from an assists provided by Tiago Dias secures the qualification.

In the second half AC Milan score the third with a poisonous left by Tsadjout. Melegoni’s goal for Atalanta serves only to make the evening of the hosts a bit less bitter. The young stars of coach Alessandro Lupi reach a well-deserved final demonstrating yet again that the club has many promising talents in the youth ranks
