Two goalkeepers to replace Donnarumma

With Gianluigi Donnarumma likely to leave in the summer, AC Milan are looking at two goalkeepers to replace him.

In the next few weeks, the priority for AC Milan will be the future of Gigio Donnarumma. The contract of the young Rossoneri goalkeeper expires in 2021 but for the moment there do not seem to be any positive signs regarding his renewal. If Gigio does not extend his current deal, Milan could be forced to sell him this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer the following year.

MUSSO – In case Donnarumma leaves, the Rossoneri will have to sign a new goalkeeper. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan have identified two ideal profiles, namely Juan Musso and Alex Meret.

The Udinese goalkeeper is 25-years-old and is having a great season with the Friulians, so much so that he has attracted the attention of several clubs. A derby battle is expected for Musso with Inter also interested in his services. Since last year, Juan Musso has become part of the Argentine national team. His price tag is at around €20 million.

MERET – As for Alex Meret, since Gennaro Gattuso arrived on Napoli’s bench, the young goalkeeper has lost his starting position and for this reason he could look for a new team in the summer.

The former Udinese and Spal goalkeeper, who in a few days will turn and therefore respects Elliott’s transfer policy, is one of the most interesting young Italian goalkeepers and is already part of Mancini’s national team. If Gigio refuses to renew, the choice of AC Milan will be between Alex Meret and Juan Musso.
