Two Arab subjects interested in 25% of AC Milan: the details

AC Milan owners Elliott are in negotiations to sell a minority stake of the club. Two Arab subjects are interested in joining the Rossoneri.

The American fund has not confirmed, but it’s clear that Elliott, owner of AC Milan, is looking for a new investor to buy 25/30% of the Rossoneri club shares. Italian papers confirmed that AC Milan were in negotiations with two anonymous subjects and according to Tuttosport, the two interested investors are Arab subjects who even in the past had shown interest in the Devil and who now want to join the Singer family.

THREE REASONS – The Turin-based outlet explains why Elliott is looking for a new partner. The first reason is to add economic value to the club. While the second reason is related to the development of the AC Milan brand on international markets. Furthermore, the entry of a new partner would obviously bring more money at the club. Money that would be used to manage better the Rossoneri company and move more freely on the transfer market.

NOT FOR SALE – This search should not worry however the Red and Black as Milan is not for sale and Elliott is not in the stage of disengagement from the club. On the contrary, the presence of Gordon Singer on Sunday evening at San Siro for the match with Juventus demonstrates how much the new ownership is close and present in the life of the Milan team.

Elliott Management Corporation took control of the club in July 2018 after former owner Yonghong Li defaulted on his €415 million debt. The Americans have installed a new management structure and aim to qualify for Champions League this season.
