From Spain: Striker with 34 goals is AC Milan’s top summer target

AC Milan will do everything in their power to get Benfica ace Darwin Nunez according to reports from Spain.

Significant investments are expected with the arrival of Investcorp at the helm of AC Milan club. The Rossoneri will work to strengthen their squad and be competitive also in the Champions League next season. AC Milan need to improve especially in attack with Darwin Nunez being linked with a summer move to AC Milan.

The likely arrival of Divock Origi is not enough for a team that plays in three competitions. For a team that relies on aged forwards like Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. AC Milan have often won matches with just one goal of difference so adding a striker like Nunez who has scored 34 goals this season (plus 4 assists) would definitely be a significant booster.

According to reports from Spain, Darwin Nunez is AC Milan’s top target for the attack this summer. The 22-year-old Uruguay international has all the necessary characteristics the Rossoneri are looking from their new centre forward writes Fichajes.net.

Despite being only 22-years-old, Nunez has proven he can make the difference at the highest levels scoring 6 goals in the Champions League. His excellent performances have attracted the attention of top European clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and AC Milan.

Benfica are open to let their most prized asset leave this summer if an offer of €60 million arrives. It looks like his departure is just a matter of time and AC Milan will play their cards to get on of the most exiting players across Europe.
