OFFICIAL – AC Milan present new Primavera coach
AC Milan’s executives have decided to take radical steps to improve the performance of the rossoneri for the remaining part of the season. Disappointed with the results of the team so far, the new ownership decided to sack Vincenzo Montella, despite renewing his contract just a few months ago. In his place Fassone and Mirabelli have named Gennaro Gattuso.
The former Milan defensive midfielder joined the club this summer and was doing an excellent job with the Primavera. Now he has to continue his work with the first team leaving a considerable void in the young rossoneri who find themselves 3rd in the league with just 3 points of distance from city rivals Inter.
The new coach entrusted to guide the Primavera will be Alessandro Lupi, already part of the rossoneri as coach of AC Milan Allievi. Lupi managed to win the U16 league last season with the young rossoneri and was training the U17 this year. Now he is promoted to Primavera coach to replace Gattuso and continue the nice job done so far by Rino.
