Pioli launches Hauge against Spezia

AC Milan new signing Jens Petter Hauge could make his debut immediately in tomorrow’s Serie A match against Spezia.

Immediate trust in Jens Petter Hauge. The latest signings of AC Milan could make his Serie A debut just a few days after his arrival in Italy.

The Norwegian talent, who bewitched the AC Milan scouts with his performances at Bodo Glimt has made a very positive impression to coach Stefano Pioli too.

Today, during the press conference ahead of Milan vs Spezia, the coach admitted that he immediately intends to rely on Hauge: “He could play, he will certainly be on the shortlist for tomorrow’s match. Physically he is fine, better than many of our players as he played 20 official matches in Norway. What is certain is that he will have to learn some things and adapt to Italian football”.

Pioli also talked about his role on the pitch: “He plays mainly on the left or as attacking midfielder but I saw that he can also play on the right. He will give us a big helping hand. He has quality and is good in one-on-one situations, when you are a fast and technical player it becomes fundamental in modern football“.

Jens Petter Hauge scored and assisted in Bodo Glimt’s Europa League match against the Rossoneri. A few days latter he joined AC Milan for a figure of 5 million euros.
