Pioli wants to take revenge against Elliot

The fate of AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is marked but the Italian wants to take some satisfaction before leaving.

AC Milan recorded a very important win a few days ago against Roma. The three points were necessary not only to shorten the distance with the fifth place but it was also the first time this season the Rossoneri won a match against a top 6 club.

Now coach Stefano Pioli is removing some pebbles from his shoe. In fact, as Tuttosport reports today, the Italian coach gloats after the good start of the Rossoneri since the championship resumption after the Coronavirus outbreak.

And he does well considering how much he has had to take so far and how much he is still taking, with a revolution that is silently taking shape behind his back with Ralf Rangnick ready to take his job. The club put him in a corner already last December, regardless of how the season could have ended and without considering the objectively complicated situation in which he took over the squad.

Instead, despite these premises, the club imminently considered Stefano Pioli another flop just as Marco Giampaolo. Certainly it were not transcendental months for the coach, but on the other hand he raised a AC Milan squad that was previously on its knees, gave the team an identity and practically enhanced the entire squad by relaunching senators and new signings. In addition, the players have also showed lots of support for the coach.

But it was not enough and it will not be enough for Elliott Management Corporation the owner of AC Milan. No matter the results, in fact, it is certain is that at the end of the season Rangnick will arrive. But to say that maybe there was a bit of a hurry, highlights the newspaper, is more than legitimate. In any case, Pioli wants to take his revenge on Elliot before saying goodbye: qualify for Europa League and to go as far as possible in the ranking.
