OFFICIAL: AC Milan announce second summer signing

AC Milan announce the signing of the Belgium midfielder for a total figure of 7 million euros.

There are still 10 games until the end of the season but the Rossoneri management have started to move on the market. AC Milan’s first summer singing was Pierre Kalulu on a free transfer while a few minutes ago the club announced the purchase of Alexis Saelemaekers.

AC Milan announces having exercised the option to buy Alexis Saelemaekers on a permanent basis. The Belgian player has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2024“, through a statement on the club’s website.

The 21-year-old right midfielder joined the Rossoneri on loan in January. At that time AC Milan paid 3.5 million euros for his loan and another 3.5 million for his permanent signing bring his transfer to a total of €7 million.

As acmilaninfo.com reported in March, despite his sporadic appearances, AC Milan would make the transfer of the Belgian versatile permanent at the end of the season.

The former Anderlecht talent has made six appearances with AC Milan so far but has failed to play a match for the entire 90 minutes. Nevertheless, his commitment and talent have convinced the Rossoneri management.
