PSG about to snatch Renato Sanches from AC Milan

Paris Saint Germain are set to rival AC Milan for the signature of Renato Sanches. The Lille midfielder will change club this summer.

Lille midfielder Renato Sanches seemed very close to becoming a new AC Milan player. However, according to recent reports, an agreement is far from closed and the intrusion of Paris Saint Germain could complicate the situation for the Rossoneri club.

After losing Aurelien Tchouameni who ended up at Real Madrid, PSG have turned their attention to the Portuguese midfielder. New PSG sporting director, Luis Campos, was the one who brought Sanches at Lille and is looking to reteam with the 24-year-old powerful central midfielder.

Le10sport reports that Paris Saint Germain are set to offer €30 million to Lille for Renato Sanches. After having completed the signing of Vitinha from Porto, the French champions want to add Sanches to their ranks. The PSG have contacted the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, and are confident of being able to snatch him from Milan by offering 5 million per season according to the French source.

Renato Sanches has promised himself to AC Milan but the call of PSG and most likely of that Christophe Galtier (very close to being appointed the new coach of Les blues), could change the cards on the table. Galtier coached Sanches at Lille winning the Ligue 1 together.

The Rossoneri have identified the former Bayer Munich talent as the perfect replacement for Franck Kessie who is set to join Barcelona. Maldini has been in negotiations with Jorge Mendes for the last six months and the player has reportedly accepted AC Milan’s contract offer of 3.5 million per season.
