Thiago Silva: “I believe in the new Milan. Phone call with Leo?…”

Former AC Milan defender Thiago Silva continues to be one of the biggest fan of the Rossoneri and follows closely every update on the club.

Interviewed by La Gazzetta dello sport Thiago Silva spoke about the new Milan that has appointed Leonardo and Paolo Maldini as its two top managers. “I believe in the new Milan because there are some champions that the club needed. It’s always hard to get back to winning but with them the path is a little easier. I hope Milan can do a lot better this year. Surely Gattuso is a very good coach. I’m happy, I hope that even from a distance we can cheer for Milan“.

While at Canal + the former Rossoneri centre back also responded to an alleged call by Leonardo to bring him back to Milanello. He denied: “Leonardo has not called me. I have a contract with the PSG. I’m happy here, I hope to finish my career here. From afar, I will always support Milan“.

Recently there have been no rumors regarding a possible return of Thiago Silva to AC Milan. A few months ago something had come out but nothing concrete given that the Brazilian is now almost 34 years old and receives a very high salary in France.
