Sky: Higuain open to AC Milan move

The top striker that the management has promised to coach Gattuso could be Gonzalo Higuain with AC Milan willing to make a bid.

Transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, during “Calciomercato – L’Originale” aired on Sky Sport, spoke on the possible transfer of Gonzalo Higuain at AC Milan. “Despite the difficulties of the moment within the club, in all this, the positive thing is that players like Higuain do not say no, as far as I know, Gonzalo is open to Milan move, he often comes to Milano, has friends and knows that Juve want to sell him“.

The Argentine 30 year old striker is deemed surplus to requirements at Juventus after Cristiano Ronaldo’s record breaking purchase. Higuain joined the Bianconeri in 2016 and in his last two seasons has scored 55 goals in 105 appearances.

The former Napoli and Real Madrid star was, until now, the most expensive purchase in Serie A history. Juventus signed the Argentine for 90 million euros two years ago and are now demanding a fee of around 50 million to let him go. Updates are expected during the week.
