Sparta Prague vs Milan, probable lineups

Rossoneri coach Stefano Pioli will practically change the entire squad for Europa League’s Sparta Prague vs Milan.

Tonight at 21:00 CET, AC Milan travel to the Czech Republic to play against Sparta Prague. Sparta Prague vs Milan is the last match of the Europa League group stage with the Rossoneri already qualified to the next stage.

The classification of group H sees Stefano Pioli’s team second with 10 points, 1 less from Lille. A victory, with the French failing to win against Celtic, would allow the Rossoneri to climb to the first place and avoid more formidable rivals in the next round.

Pioli in the press conference on the eve of Sparta Prague vs Milan announced that he will make ample rotation: “Tomorrow there will be room for those who have played less so far“. But the formation will not change and as usual the 4-2-3-1 will be the weapon of choice.

Ciprian Tatarusanu will be in goal replacing Gigio Donnarumma. In defense will be space for Andrea Conti, Leo Duarte and Diogo Dalot. Coach Pioli had decided to deploy Matteo Gabbia at the center of the defence with Alessio Romagnoli taking a rest. Mateo Musacchio could make his seasonal debut in Sparta Prague vs AC Milan in the second half.

In midfield Rade Krunic will be given another chance to start from the first minute after the disastrous display against Celtic. Sandro  Tonali will be his partner. Franck Kessie will sit on the bench while Ismael Bennacer is not even part of the squad list. The Algerian has yet to completely recover from a muscle injury and is expected to return to the group for the match with Parma.

Regarding the attack, Samu Castillejo and Jens Peter Hauge will play on the wings. Daniel Maldini and Brahim Diaz are fighting for the attacking midfielder position with Paolo’s son slightly in advantage. The center forward will must likely be Lorenzo Colombo although the use of Ante Rebic can not be excluded.

SPARTA PRAGUE (4-3-3): Heca; Sacek, Lischka, Celutska, Hanousek; Pavelka, Travnik, Vindheim; Dockal, Julis, Krejci.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Conti, Duarte, Gabbia, Diogo Dalot; Tonali, Krunic; Castillejo, Maldini (Diaz), Hauge; Colombo.
