The absurd condition of Carrasco to join Milan
AC Milan are in negotiations to sign Yannick Ferreira Carrasco but the Belgium international has made an absurd request.
Since the start of the January transfer window AC Milan have been searching for a new winger. Sporting director Leonardo has been following several interesting profiles among which even Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.
The former Atletico Madrid star now plays in China with Dalian Yifang. He left Spain one year ago to become one of the highest paid football players in the world in Asia, earning 10 million euros per season. However, the Belgium international seems unhappy in China and is desperate to return in Europe.
AC Milan contacted his agent and Carrasco was open to a transfer to Italy but the 25 year old left winger has made an absurd request. Carrasco wants to earn almost the same salary he receives in China. He has asked to be paid the same as Higuain, 9 million euros per season.
A totally irrational demand that AC Milan immediately rejected. The Rossoneri in fact aimed to offer less than half of that figure. Now Leonardo is considering a move for Gremio star Everton Soares.
